Matics Paintings

Marietta Matics began painting in oils in the 1950's when she lived in the Hungary and Britain.  Her large-scale naive style portrait of Artist's Daughter was exhibited at the Pretoria Art Museum in 1983.  Marietta continued painting up until her death, finishing her final painting of Kingfisher in Cape Town as a gift to her grandchildren in 2007.
 
Her paintings include Hydrangeas in jewel colours, Lilies, Portraits and still life's in Oils.
